FAQs

Auction questions, answered fast.

How do I bid?

Open a lot, choose your bid amount, and confirm. If another bidder passes you, the card activity will show that heat while the auction is live.

Why does bidding start at $1?

Most of what we list is retail-return inventory we acquire by the pallet, so we can pass deep savings on to local buyers. Starting every lot at $1 lets the market decide the price instead of an inflated MSRP.

What is a retail return or mystery box?

Retail returns are items that came back to a major retailer for any reason — opened packaging, color swap, customer changed their mind. We sort, photograph, and grade them by condition before listing. Mystery boxes are sealed mixed-category pallets where part of the fun is the surprise.

How are conditions graded?

Every lot carries a condition badge: Appears New, Gently Used, Used, Easy Fix, Heavy Use, Major Fix, or Mixed Condition (for pallets with a spread). Lot photos and notes back up the grade so you know what you're bidding on.

Are there any extra fees on top of my winning bid?

No buyer's premium. Your winning bid is your invoice total — no hidden percentage tacked on at checkout. Sales tax applies where required.

How does payment work?

Once you win, your lots move into your account for checkout. Pay online and you'll get a pickup confirmation with location and time slots.

What happens if I win?

Your winning lots move into your account so you can check out and schedule pickup.

Where do I pick up?

Pickup is local to Jacksonville. Your confirmation will include the location and pickup instructions.

Can I return something?

Yes — we offer 7-day returns. If something's wrong, email support and an admin will open the return on your behalf and walk you through the next steps.

Where do these items come from?

Major retailers send us truckload manifests of returned, overstock, and shelf-pull inventory. We unpack each pallet, grade items individually, and re-list them as auction lots so they find a second home in Jacksonville instead of getting destroyed.

Is this sustainable?

Recommerce is the whole point. Every item won here is one that doesn't get crushed, landfilled, or shipped back through the reverse-logistics chain. Saving money by saving the planet — that's the deal.

Can I watch lots before bidding?

Yes. Watching helps you track items and jump in when the bidding starts moving.
